About The Carnegie Institution for Science
The Carnegie Institution for Science formerly occupied the landmark administration building at 1530 P Street NW, but sold it in 2021. The address is now the Embassy of the State of Qatar and was inaugurated in that role in 2025. Carnegie Science remains an active research organization, but this record is a former headquarters and event location.
