About Avalon Theater

The Avalon Theatre is a nonprofit neighborhood cinema in Washington’s Chevy Chase area. Opened in 1923 and renamed the Avalon in 1929, it now presents first-run and independent films, special screenings, and community programs in two auditoriums.
