The theater is in the S. Dillon Ripley Center at 1100 Jefferson Drive SW on the National Mall, three levels underground. Current shows start at times published on the season page, and individual or group tickets require advance booking. Smithsonian Metro is nearby; public parking is limited.

The Smithsonian provides an accessible entrance, mobility-device access, limited free manual wheelchairs, and advance program services. Contact Discovery Theater or Smithsonian accessibility at least two weeks ahead for sign-language interpretation, CART, audio description, or other program accommodations.
