The official address is 19 Dupont Circle NW, but the red entrance is on 19th Street beside the Dupont Circle Starbucks. The venue opens only for scheduled exhibitions and events. It is about three minutes from the Dupont Circle Metro north exit; street parking and a nearby garage are available, but garage closing times vary.
Accessibility
The main entrance uses stairs. A chairlift is available by advance arrangement through chairlift@dupontunderground.org. The venue currently states that it has no on-site restrooms, so contact staff before buying if restroom access or another accommodation is needed.
About Dupont Underground
Dupont Underground is a nonprofit arts and cultural space built inside a former streetcar station beneath Dupont Circle. Its approximately 15,000 square feet host exhibitions, performances, tours, design programs, and private events rather than regular daily admission.
