Plan your visit
General admission is free, with pay-what-you-will timed passes recommended to guarantee gallery entry. Theater patrons should use the east entrance. The Folger has no visitor lot and limited street parking, so Metro is recommended. Check the calendar because gallery, Reading Room, theater, and café hours differ.
Accessibility
The renovated east and west garden entrances are fully accessible, and elevators reach all public levels. Services include accessible seating, assistive-listening devices, audio description, open captions, ASL by advance request, relaxed and mask-required performances, sensory bags, social narratives, and loaner wheelchairs.
