The center is at 4400 Massachusetts Avenue NW. Enter the underground garage from Massachusetts Avenue; it operates from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and uses PayByPhone location 4882 or on-level kiosks. Use general spaces only. The free AU shuttle runs from Tenleytown/AU Metro.
Accessibility
American University describes the center and its arts venues as fully accessible. Contact the current Katzen visitor-information representative in advance for wheelchair arrangements, sign-language interpretation, captioning, alternative formats, or other disability-related support.
About Katzen Arts Center at American University
Katzen Arts Center is American University’s 130,000-square-foot visual and performing arts complex. It houses the 30,000-square-foot AU Museum, Abramson Family Recital Hall, studio and dance theaters, galleries, classrooms, university art and performing-arts programs, a welcome center, and rentable event spaces.
