About Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena

Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena, also called The Peake and formerly UMBC Event Center, is a multipurpose arena on the University of Maryland, Baltimore County campus. It hosts Retrievers basketball and volleyball, commencements, concerts, speakers, and community events.

Venue policies

Bags

UMBC permits clear bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, one-gallon clear bags, or clutches up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches, with medical and diaper exceptions.

Screening

All permitted bags are subject to search; no-bag entry lanes may be available.
