HOBT moved into 2411 Hennepin Avenue in late 2025. Programs may occur there or at partner locations around Minneapolis, so check the event page carefully. The building has on-street parking, nearby bus routes, flexible seating for up to 60, and office access by doorbell during published hours.

Accessibility

The performance space provides wheelchair seating and an accessible single-stall restroom. HOBT offers ASL interpretation, audio description and touch tours on selected dates, language interpretation for some programs, headphones, and early entry by arrangement. A capital project continues to improve lift and sensory access.

About In the Heart of the Beast

In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre is a Minneapolis–Saint Paul arts nonprofit centered on puppetry, masks, community creativity, and public participation. Its new Lowry Hill East home hosts performances, workshops, camps, artist gatherings, story times, and a free puppet lending library.
