Check the official calendar to confirm that a public event is actually scheduled during reopening. There is no dedicated parking, but downtown ramps and Warehouse District light rail are nearby.

Current event listings identify the reopened center as accessible, but reopening configurations can change. Contact cowles@artsnest.org or 612-293-7223 before purchase to confirm step-free entrance, elevator operation, wheelchair and companion seating, restrooms, hearing services, service animals, and the closest drop-off or parking.

About The Cowles Center

The Cowles Center is a historic downtown Minneapolis dance and performing-arts complex centered on the 503-seat Goodale Theater. The former operator ceased operations in 2024, and the City selected Arts’ Nest with Zenon Dance to reactivate it. The center is now in a phased reopening with selected events rather than a full legacy schedule.
