The hall is at 2301 Boardwalk. Event doors typically open 60–90 minutes before start time. The on-site garage is reached from Mississippi Avenue and the Boardwalk; rates vary and garage payment is cash only. Arrive early for bag checks, searches, and metal detection.
Accessibility
Accessible seating is distributed throughout and may include up to three companions, subject to availability. The hall provides accessible garage spaces, elevators, restrooms, concourses, wheelchair seating, guest services, emergency assistance, and sign-language interpreters with advance notice.
About Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall (Historic Atlantic City Convention Hall)
Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall is Atlantic City’s historic multipurpose arena and entertainment landmark on the Boardwalk. Opened in 1929 as Atlantic City Convention Hall, it hosts concerts, sporting events, family shows, conventions, and civic programs beneath its barrel-vault roof and houses the world’s largest pipe organ.
