Plan your visit
McCarter is at 91 University Place beside the Princeton NJ Transit station. The Theater Drive Garage is free after 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends until 2 a.m.; other times require a university permit. Always verify the listed venue because Richardson Auditorium is a separate campus building.
Accessibility
Wheelchair and companion seating is available in both McCarter theaters. Services include assistive-listening devices and neck loops, scheduled ASL, large-print programs, advance Braille programs, relaxed performances, service-animal accommodation, and limited accessible parking by the Matthews circle drive.
About McCarter Theatre Center
McCarter Theatre Center is an active nonprofit performing-arts organization on Princeton University’s campus. Its Matthews and Berlind theaters present professional theater, music, dance, spoken word, family programs, education, and visiting artists, while some McCarter events occur at nearby Richardson Auditorium.
