About Cafe Wha?

Cafe Wha? is a historic Greenwich Village basement music club operating since 1959. Its stage helped launch artists including Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix and now presents a broad calendar of rock, soul, funk, pop, jazz, Latin music, and the Cafe Wha? House Band.

Venue policies

Age

Strictly 21 and over Friday and Saturday; ages 16 and over may attend with an adult Sunday through Thursday.

Minimum purchase

A two-item minimum applies to every guest.

Under-21 menu

Guests under 21 must purchase the venue’s fixed-price food and soft-drink menu.

House Band charges
