The main entrance is at 182 South Main Street. Several downtown parking decks and a surface lot surround the theatre, including the O'Neil's and Akron Centre decks. Mobility drop-off is at the Main Street entrance, and all patrons enter through the Main Street doors.

Accessibility

The theatre provides 26 wheelchair-and-companion locations across levels via elevator, plus 16 swing-arm transfer seats. Accessible restrooms are on the Orchestra and Mezzanine lobby levels. Assisted-listening headsets are available, sign-language interpretation can be requested at least three weeks ahead, and a limited number of courtesy transport wheelchairs are available first come, first served.

About Akron Civic Theatre

Akron Civic Theatre is a historic downtown Akron venue for concerts, theatre, comedy, and community events. Opened in 1929 as a cinema and vaudeville house, it is known for its original Spanish Moorish architecture and a main auditorium seating about 2,600.
