Plan your visit
The theater is at 3143 O’Neil Road on the Blossom Music Center grounds. Free parking is available from the main Blossom entrance and Kent State Drive; the east entrance from Northampton Road is often easiest. The house opens 30 minutes before curtain. Picnic tables are first come, and pavilion space may be reserved under current terms.
Accessibility
Porthouse is a barrier-free facility. Wheelchair seating can be arranged with advance notice, and complimentary assistive-listening devices are available from the box office in exchange for photo identification. Contact the theater before purchase for optimal wheelchair and companion seating or another accommodation.
About Porthouse Theatre
Porthouse Theatre is Kent State University’s active professional summer theater on the wooded grounds of Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls. Its seasonal productions combine university artists and professional performers in a covered outdoor setting where audiences often picnic before musicals and plays.
