Plan your visit
Use 222 North 20th Street and allow roughly three to four hours for a general visit. Date-specific admission is required, and some experiences need separate timed tickets. The museum garage entrance is at 271 North 21st Street, has limited first-come parking, and currently lists a $25 daily rate.
Accessibility
Accessible street entry is available through the 20th Street business entrance and from the garage elevators. The museum offers accessible restrooms, a limited number of courtesy wheelchairs with photo ID, sensory backpacks, service-animal access, and free admission for qualifying personal care attendants. Request ASL interpretation at least three weeks ahead.
About The Franklin Institute
The Franklin Institute is an active science museum and educational landmark on Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Its three floors combine hands-on science exhibits, live demonstrations, special exhibitions, the Fels Planetarium, the Holt & Miller Observatory, and the historic Benjamin Franklin National Memorial.
