Accessibility

The Center has elevators to all public areas, accessible restrooms, wheelchair and companion seating on orchestra and balcony levels, and a wheelchair available on request. Assistive-listening devices are first come, first served; audio description and sign-language interpretation can be requested at least two weeks ahead.

About August Wilson Center

The August Wilson African American Cultural Center is a Pittsburgh arts institution devoted to the African American journey and the African Diaspora through exhibitions, live performance, learning, and community programs. Its downtown facility includes galleries, studios, gathering spaces, and a 486-seat main theater.
