About Kelly Strayhorn Theater

Kelly Strayhorn Theater is a historic 347-seat proscenium theater and community arts institution in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood. Named for Pittsburgh natives Gene Kelly and Billy Strayhorn, it supports performance, film, artist development, community dialogue, rentals, and programming centered on Black, queer, and other historically resilient voices.
