Plan your visit
Use 524 Main Street. The theater has no private parking lot; use street or municipal lots, which the venue says are free after 6 p.m. Monday–Saturday and all day Sunday. Arrive about 45 minutes early for security and use only Sherman Theater or its authorized ticket seller.
Accessibility
The first floor is wheelchair accessible, but there is no elevator to the second floor. Contact the box office at 570-420-2808 before purchasing to arrange wheelchair seating or other accommodations and to confirm the best entrance and restroom route.
About Sherman Theater
The Sherman Theater is an active historic nonprofit performing arts venue on Main Street in Stroudsburg. Opened in 1929 as a vaudeville house and movie theater and reopened after renovations in 2004, it now hosts concerts, theater, comedy, community programs, and touring entertainment in the Pocono region.
