Use 110 East Main Street but park before entering the pedestrian mall; the Water Street garage is a short walk away. The time printed on a ticket is generally doors, with the first act often about an hour later. The main auditorium and restrooms are accessible. For the easiest drop-off, use First and Water streets. For general admission, buy the preferred price level then call 434-245-4980; fully reserved events expose accessible inventory in Ticketmaster. About The Jefferson Theater
The Jefferson Theater is an active 750-capacity historic concert venue on Charlottesville’s pedestrian Downtown Mall. Established in 1912 for live performance, silent film, and vaudeville, it reopened after restoration in 2009 with modern sound and lighting, an open main floor, two seated balconies, two bars, and programming across rock, bluegrass, reggae, country, metal, hip-hop, and comedy.
